Salesforce funnels

The CRM giant, whose paid social trades reports, a calculator and demos for a phone number, all through one eight-field form.

Salesforce had 69 active ads on its Facebook page on 9 October 2026, and their UTM tags spell out the plan: region, product line and an objective code on every link. Most are brand awareness, either the “agentic enterprise” campaign or stories from its own newsroom. The lead-generation ads (pg-mtp) send people to gated reports, an ROI calculator and demo videos for Sales, Service and Marketing Cloud, and one small-business ad sells the Starter Suite trial through a founder community on Instagram.

Every gated offer uses the same form: name, job title, company, company size, country, email and a required phone number. The form changes with the country. A European visitor gets an unticked marketing opt-in; a US visitor gets no box at all and an extra State field. What’s behind the form opens the moment it’s sent (the PDF itself, or a “thank you” page with the demo) and the links to it sit in each page’s source.
