Tony's Acoustic Challenge Ad — “Guitar is just about playing a simple riff after dinner.”

Why it works

Sells a scene, not a skill: a riff after dinner, a wife who recognises the song, a grandson with a shaker. It names the audience outright (“designed for people over 50”) and turns waiting into a loss (“Every day you wait, you lose… those moments”). The video runs 2:43, the same length as the YouTube “One Choice” ad from the same season.

The copy, in full

Guitar is just about playing a simple riff after dinner. Your wife hears it and smiles: "Hey, I know that song." Or your grandson grabs a shaker and joins in. And in that moment, it’s not about how well you play. It’s about connection. It’s about presence. It’s about remembering you’re still alive. Every day you wait, you lose more than music. You lose those moments, the ones that matter most. That’s why I created the free 5-Day "Stop Dabbling, Start Playing" Guitar Challenge, designed for people over 50 who just want to play. Not perfectly. Just honestly. No pressure. No judgment. Just 10 minutes a day for 5 days, and you'll be playing songs you didn’t think were possible.
