Why it works

The screen right after the email gate in Noom's quiz: "THE LAST WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAM YOU'LL EVER NEED. We predict you'll be 77 kg by 15 Apr. And lose ~7 kg by the vacation!" A falling curve with the vacation marked, then the hook for everything that follows: "we predict you'll be able to conservatively hit your weight loss goal by April 15. Next, tell us a bit about your habits and behavior so we can determine if you can reach your goal sooner."
